The Ground Rules

To make the most of your unique piece from the Ore Mountains (Erzgebirge), follow some simple rules and you'll get to enjoy it for many years to come.

1. Protect from moisture (yes, high humidity on those stinkin' hot days counts, too), during use and when storing it throughout the year.
2. For decorative purposes only. It's not a toy! Make sure the little kids and the big kids understand that.
3. For indoor use only.
4. Storage: Keep all wooden Christmas decorations in their boxes at room temperature. Avoid sheds or garages, as wooden articles tend to disagree with extreme heat and cold, as well as moisture and vermin of any kind.
